A tale of mayhem, anxieties, and violence revolving around the pros and cons of the force- feeding of ducks to produce foie gras in southwest France. Hatred seethes between producers and residents of a tiny hamlet in one of the most tranquil and beautiful areas of the country. Stubborn bureaucrats, humour, and sexual tensions seethe in a cauldron that finally boils over in a calamitous chain of events that leads to a wholly unexpected conclusion.
